Marketing for pool builders that sorts the buyers from the browsers

Every pool enquiry starts with “how much?” — and they all land at once, right when you’re flat out building. Stop answering it one phone call at a time. Get a website that answers the price question honestly, answers people at 9pm, and hands you the ready buyers while the browsers sort themselves out. Month to month, and you can walk away any time.

A backyard pool shell at dusk with its steel reinforcement and timber formwork in place, a small excavator and a mound of dirt beside the brick house, the Brisbane skyline behind.

The problem

Where the work goes now

01

“How much for a pool?” — from everyone

It’s the first question in every enquiry, from the family ready to dig and the bloke scrolling on a hot afternoon alike. Answer it one phone call at a time and a week of quoting goes nowhere.

02

Everyone wants one at once

Enquiries pile up when it warms up, exactly when you’re busiest. The ones that wait a day for a reply ring someone else — and in the quiet months there’s nobody to ring back.

03

The same questions, over and over

Concrete or fibreglass? Will it fit my yard? Can a machine get down the side? What about the fence? Good questions, asked by nearly everyone, answered by you at the end of a long day.

04

Your best pools, gone from the feed in a week

A great photo on Facebook or Instagram is gone within a week. A page on your own website for each kind of pool you build keeps working for years, and it’s something Google can actually find.

01

Answer the price question before they ask

Plenty of pool builders keep prices off their website, so people go looking elsewhere — and whoever gives an honest answer is the one they trust. A guide to what your pools cost, in ranges you’re happy to publish, and what pushes the price up or down, sorts out the budgets before anyone rings. It’s how we get found ourselves: in our first weeks of measuring, to 25 September 2026, the page Google showed most for us was a cost guide.

02

The nearest work we have done

We haven’t built for a pool builder yet, and we’d rather tell you here than have you find out on a call. The closest is AHO Renovations, a renovation builder in Brisbane — a different trade, with the same problem: plenty of enquiries, and too few of them the work worth doing. His contact form was broken, his site looked like every other small builder’s, and his Google profile views were down 73% on the year before. We gave his website a new black and gold look, rebuilt it around the bigger work he wants, and put an assistant on it. It went live on 5 September 2026.

  • Seven enquiries in just over five weeks, and he tells us he’s busier than he’s been
  • The jobs he’d only have said no to get turned away by the assistant before they reach his phone
  • Homeowners from as far as Mango Hill and Victoria Point have got in touch — suburbs his website was never aimed at
  • He hasn’t spent a dollar on Google Ads
03

No lock-in, and what we’ll never do

Plenty of builders have been burned by a 12-month contract and a sales rep who only calls when you try to leave. These are promises, not sales talk.

  • No lock-in. After the build it’s month to month, and either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice
  • Your enquiries are yours. We never sell or share them
  • We won’t promise you a number of leads or a spot on Google
  • The assistant never names a price you haven’t approved, never promises a finish date, and never says what pool fencing will comply — that’s yours and your certifier’s to answer
  • Your real reviews, and only pools you built. Nothing goes on the site under your licence that you can’t back up
04

We don’t hand it over and disappear

Every pool you finish is a new page worth having. Send us the photos and it normally goes up by the next business day. Every month we look at what came in, what people asked and what they searched for, and make the site better — before the busy season, not in the middle of it.

Questions

Questions pool builders ask us

Have you worked with pool builders before?

Not yet. Our builder work so far is renovations and extensions, at AHO Renovations. It works the same way — show the work you want more of, get found for it, and sort the enquiries before they reach you — but we won’t pretend to a track record in your trade that we don’t have.

Will the chatbot quote prices?

Only figures you’ve approved, and none at all if you’d rather. If you want to publish a starting price and nothing more, she’ll say exactly that and pass anything more specific to you.

Will she answer questions about pool fencing?

She’ll say it’s regulated and that you and your certifier will take them through it — never what complies. A wrong answer about a pool fence is a safety problem, not a sales one.

Do you sell leads?

No. We build the thing that brings in your own — the website, the pages that get you found, and the assistant that sorts what comes in. An enquiry from your website goes to you and nobody else.

Am I locked in?

No. After the build it’s month to month, and either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice.

Do you run Google Ads for pool builders?

Yes — once your website is worth sending people to. We run the ads in your own Google Ads account, and you pay Google directly. In the busy season we can show you which ads turned into pools, not just clicks.

I already have a website. Do I have to start again?

Usually, yes — the pages, the enquiry form and the assistant are built to work together. We bring across whatever is worth keeping, like your reviews and photos. If you’d rather keep your site as it is, we can still have enquiries answered for you without touching it.

Want the next enquiry to be one worth your time?

Tell us the work you want more of and where you want it. If a new website is not what is holding you back, we will say so.
